You don't have to travel far to discover outstanding metal bands. From nearby Nancy come Akroma, a symphonic black metal band whose second longplayer "Seth" deals with the ten plagues that came over Egypt back in biblical times. Just as ambitious as their lyrical concept is the music that successfully treads new ground in the black metal genre.

Guitarist Matt already visited us back in 2007 with his progressive power metal band Elvaron, a band that shares two members with Akroma. While it has been relatively silent around Elvaron lately, Akroma have proved with their new album that they are more than able to make their mark outside their native France.
