Cardboard Robots

While we normally rely on our own CD archive to guarantee high quality rock'n'roll time on Radio ARA, it happened that we hit upon the promotional CD by the Cardboard Robots, a promising indie emo rock punk band from nearby Trier. With the idea of promoting the regional scene, Lex did his best to contact the Robots as soon as possible, and finally early September we had the pleasure of meeting these guys at Radio ARA.

The Cardboard Robots have the most diverse musical backgrounds, with one of the guys even having played with German punks Rückkopplung a couple of years ago. Their biggest gig so far was opening a sold out venue for Kettcar in Trier's Ex-Haus.

Their first album 'El Cortito' is about to appear end of this year. Meanwhile, you should check out their website where you can download some of their songs, to convince you of the huge potential of this band.
