They are the godfathers of the local death metal scene. Back in the Nineties, when there was hardly a metal scene at all in Luxembourg, Desdemonia came out of nothing with their classic death metal that made them a fanbase in no time at all. Two albums came out, and then it became alarmingly quiet about the quartet, although they played a couple of concerts from time to time and promised that their third album would be recorded and released, some day...

Nine years after their second album, Desdemonia are finally back with "Existence", a pleasantly old school effort that is absolutely unaffected by the trends that extreme metal went through in the last decade. We can only hope that they won't take so long before they unleash their fourth record onto the eager masses.
