A good year ago, a band from Trier called Cardboard Robots paid us a visit at Radio ARA and promised to release a CD
at the end of the year. That was 2004. 2005 has them back with a new name (LipService), a new bass player and, finally,
the CD.
To prevent people from becoming too confused, the self-produced debut album is called "Cardboard Robots". With a strong
influence of Nineties indie rock music, LipService stay clear of generic trends and present perfectly delivered rock songs
that aims to get the people dancing.
Although their CD was recorded in 2003 and doesn't necessarily represent the band as it is today, LipService are decided to record
a new album already next year, so that if everything works out alright (and let's hope it does), we will have them back at Radio ARA
same time next year. Until then you should visit the LipService homepage.
