Noiseworks Records was the first record label to come from the former German Democratic Republic. Founder Karsten "Dr. K"
Zinsik released more than a hundred albums before he decided to call it a day and pass the label on.
Karsten, who also has a solid background of independent radio DJing, still has a sharp eye and a keen ear for what is going on
in the musical undergrounds, especially when we're talking about his local Chemnitz (formerly Karl-Marx-Stadt) and the exotic
locations from New Zealand.
Obi is the new owner from Noiseworks Records, which can now be considered to be a Luxemburgish label. The future will show
how well he will balance the releases from local and international bands.
