The last time Inborn played at the Rock um Knuedler was way back in 2003, just after they first made headlines after winning the Emergenza festival.
A lot has happened since then. Two albums and one EP later sees the band matured considerably, and the fact that they have scheduled recording sessions
in Autumn with star producer Ross Robinson in the USA was reason enough to ask frontman Cedric about the band's future plans.

Metro have been playing every two years at this festival since 2006. It's interesting to follow their development from a guitar rock band to a nowadays
much more electronic based band using samples, drum computers and strange synthesizer sounds. One thing's for sure though: the three-piece hasn't lost
any of its punch. On the contary, they are now rocking more vitally than ever. Furthermore they have been signed to the German indie label Waggle-Daggle
which should open quite a few doors for them.

Babyoil are one of those bands that have rather inconspicuously built a fanbase that makes them now one of the most popular rock bands in Luxembourg.
Their latest EP "Assume Nothing" sees the veterans from a catchier side, with more emphasis on the vocals but giving still a lot of space to the
guitars that often like to create soaring post rock carpets.

Cyclorama were probably the one band that many were surprised to see at the Rock um Knuedler. Starting as a solo project by guitarist and laptop manipulator
Sebastien, two albums came out on the local label Schnurstrax Records before two further musicians were added to make for a fatter live sound. Drummer Pierre
and bassist Yves (Metro) have helped Cyclorama to flesh out this great instrumental space rock sound that makes this band quite unique in the local music scene.

The mathrock ambassadors of Luxembourg already played last year at the festival, but in the meantime they have worked hard on their live show. Their first longplayer
"Danger Mouth", jointly released on a German and a British record label, not only received high praise from the international music press, but also allowed
Mutiny On The Bounty to make a tour through the United Kingdom, which even had the NME prick its ears.

Consisting of many known faces from the Luxembourgish music scene (Couchgrass, Blue Shade, Lincoln Hawk,...), this young band plays a kind of grimy
blues rock with a strong alternative flair that seems to have captured the attention of quite a few people recently. This alone was reason enough to
have them play at this year's Rock um Knuedler festival. They opened the long day of live concerts and were therefore able to give us a taste of the
atmosphere at the public space which is only one walking minute away from Radio ARA.
