Symakya

Matthieu Morand, devouted metalhead from Nancy in France, has been paying visits to our radioshow in the past with his bands Elvaron and Akroma. Today he came, together with Thomas Das Neves, to promote his newest band Symakya. The line-up is completed by Kevin Kazek. Although all three members are currently playing together in progressive thrash metal band Elvaron, Thomas has had some success with his former band Heavenly, and Kevin is currently also the lead singer in Seyminhol.

Elvaron and Akroma were located in the more extreme corners of the metal universe. Therefore it seems surprising at first that Symakya play symphonic progressive metal. Their debut album "Majestic 12: Open Files" has been mixed by Simon Oberender (Epica, Kamelot, Edguy, Avantasia) and mastered by Sascha Paeth (Angra, Kamelot, Epica, Rhapsody Of Fire), to ensure them a majestic sound that should appeal to every fan of grand scale metal music.
